Fluorometholone eye drops – read all about it

Fluorometholone eye drops are steroid eye drops used for treating eye allergy or inflammation.

Tilt your head upwards and backwards and look up, pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch this is the correct position for application of fluorometholone eye drops. Hold the dropper directly over your eye and place 1 drop into the pouch.

Look downward and gently close your eyes for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at the corner of your eye and apply gentle pressure. This will prevent the fluorometholone eye drops from draining out.

Don’t blink and or rub your eye. Apply as often as directed by your doctor. Do not rinse the dropper. Replace the dropper cap after each use.
