Fluorometholone ointment

Fluorometholone ointment is a steroid eye medicine used to treat pink eye for eye allergy or other inflammation on the eye.

When you are using fluorometholone ointment for eye diseases wait at least 5 to 10 minutes before applying other medications. If your ophthalmologist has prescribed eye drops along with the ointment you should apply the eye drops before the ointments to allow the drops to enter the eye.

Use the ointment regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. You have to use the eye ointment at the same time each day so that you don’t forget your dose.
